The last Monday in May is Memorial Day. I started making patriotic designs last week. I copied the American flag and yellow ribbon from my other designs. I placed the American flag on the middle of the canvas, and the yellow ribbon on the flag. I placed a picture of the Iwo Jima flag raising at the bottom of the yellow ribbon, and a rose.

First, I typed a big “MOM” in the middle of the canvas, and a small “World's Greatest” above “MOM,” and placed a heart on the “O” in “MOM.” Next, I drew a rose in the background, and added the flower pattern on “MOM.”

April is Autism Awareness month. I started working on Autism Awareness designs a week ago. I made a butterfly with a colorful puzzle piece style, and added the messages of “Love,” “Support,” and “Advocate.” I made two versions of this butterfly design.

According to Autism Society, the Autism Awareness Ribbon - the puzzle pattern reflects the mystery and complexity of the autism spectrum. The different colors and shapes represent the diversity of the people and families living with the condition. The brightness of the ribbon signals hope—hope that through increased awareness of autism, and through early intervention and appropriate treatments, people with autism will lead fuller, more complete lives.

"Irish Drinking Team New York" T-Shirts

I worked on some “Irish Drinking Team, New York” T-Shirts today. I placed the Statue of Liberty in the middle of the canvas, and a big shamrock with splatter behind the statue, and replaced the torch on her right hand with beer. Also, I replaced “D” in “Drinking Team” with a harp that we see in the Irish flag. I scattered the shamrocks around the graphics, and changed the colors and sizes of them.

Started Thinking About the Next Project

I have been working on Irish and St. Patrick's Day's T-Shirts for a while, and still working on some ongoing designs. I started thinking about designs for Earth Day, April 22. I see a lot of images of the Earth and the recycle symbol combined together to describe, reduce, resue, and recycle. I considered how to express the same concept in a different way. When I was looking at the pictures of San Francisco I took a couple of years ago, I decided to use sea lions as the recycle symbol. And then, I drew a sea lion with a ball on its nose. I rotated the design at a 120 degree angle twice to make a triangle shape like the recycle symbol.

“Go Green” T-Shirts

I modified my “Go Green” design that I made for CafePress last year. I started feeling that the three arrows around the Earth don't fit the design because they are a little bit decorative. So, I replaced them with simpele arrows in pale green. I created two designs with different grunge patterns, and created one without grunge.

Round Style Shmarock with “Happy St. Patrick's Day!”

I modified the round style shamrock that I made a week ago. It's a big shamrock surrounded by a circle of small shamrocks, and a rainbow crossing from a horseshoe toward a gold pot with an Irish flag background. Also, I added a brown circle around the Irish flag to another “HappySt. Patrick's Day” design with three shamrocks since brown goes well with green.

Leprechaun Shamrock with “Kiss Me I'm Irish” T-Shirts

I worked on another “Kiss Me, I'm Irish” design. I placed a leprechaun lookalike shamrock and an Irish girl lookalike shamrock in the middle of the canvas, put a kiss mark on the leprechaun shamrock, and scattered some small shamrocks in different colors and sizes around the two main shamrocks. And then, I added grunge patterns on the graphics. Also, I changed the position of the title to create another version. I made both grunge and non grunge styles to the designs to see which one will sell better.

“Kiss Me, I'm Irish” T-Shirts at Zazzle

I have some drafts for “Kiss Me, I'm Irish” that I have been working on little by little. I often use the same graphics from the different designs to create new designs. I used the same six shamrocks from “Irish and Shamrock,” and replaced one of them with a leprechaun lookalike shamrock boy. I adjusted the sizes of other shamrocks, and made the shamrock boy bigger to make it look better.

Updated My Squidoo Lens

I have been working on Valentine's Day for two weeks now, and decided to finish it, and concentrate on St. Patrick's Day. I updated my squidoo lens, TMK Original T-Shirt Shopat Zazzle. I added a Valentine's Day section.

Glossy Heart T-Shirt for Valentine's Day

I decided to work on Valentine's Day designs more since I have some heart drafts I haven't used yet.

I made a glossy heart by adding Outer Glow and Bevel and Emboss effects with Photoshop, and placed a wing on both sides of the heart. I typed some messages of “I Love You,” “ Happy Valentine's Day,” “Be Mine” to create different versions. When I was looking around Zazzle marketplace, I suddenly remembered the time I visited Paris, and it made me want to create French style heart designs. I typed “Je t'aime (I love you)” “Mon Amour (My Love)” for new designs. I added some splatter around the heart.
