Bumper Stickers for “Don't Tread On Me”

While I was looking at the old American flag, I suddenly came up with an idea for bumper stickers. I placed the Gadsden flag in the middle of 13 stars on the top left, and the picture of tread on the flag, and changed the blend mode to soft light and reduced opacity to make the tread look natural on the flag. I added texture on the Gadsden flag and the slogans. This is myfirst sticker I created at Zazzle.

Unique combinations of the old American flag with tread and the Gadsden flag with the slogans of “Don't Tread On Me” and “Liberty Or Death” in cool vintage style.

Next, I placed tread shaped grunge on “Don't Tread On Me” T-Shirts that I made yesterday, and created a new version. Also, I made a simple flag version because some people might like just a flag with the slogans.

Next, I placed a tea pot on the American flag to associate Tea Party to “Don't Tread On Me,” and saved it as a draft. I will work on this later.

“Don't Tread On Me” T-Shirt at Zazzle

I see a lot of T-Shirts saying “Don't Tread On Me” with the Gadsden flag at Zazzle. Political slogans are popular T-Shirt themes. I made some rough drafts for this theme last week. I considered how to make it original and unique. I made an American map shaped American flag, and placed the Gadsden flag on top of it, and typed “Don't Tread On Me” and “Liberty Or Death.” I replaced the American flag with the Second Revolution flag to make another version.

Shamrock and “Irish Drinking Team”

I went to a Christmas buffet with my husband and saw Christmas lights after that. And then, I started working on Christmas. It's fun to work when nobody does.
I modified “IrishDrinking Team” Shamrock in Irish Flag style that I made yesterday. I painted the shamrock in green. I made a beer with three shamrocks bigger, and lowered them on the canvas, and slightly changed the color for fonts.

Humorous combination of shamrock and Irish beer to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with drinking beer. Irish beer surrounded by three shamrocks in a big shamrock with Irish flag background in cool grunge style, and the popular slogans of “Irish Drinking Team” and “Happy St. Patrick's Day.”

I made buttons and stickers for “Irish Drinking Team” in a circle shaped Irish flag that I made the day before yesterday, which is a leprechaun and an Irish girl drinking together to enjoy St. Patrick's Day.

I added a description for the Irish section. Come visit anytime. The designs are constantly increasing.

“Irish Drinking Team” Shamrock in Irish Flag Style

I'm working on Christmas Eve. It's not fun? It's actually fun. I just don't have a Christmas party. Whenever I have the time, I like working on designs. It's always fun for me. I decided that I will create 100 Irish designs for this St. Patrick's Day.

I looked at an old file that I made last year for CafePress, which is a big shamrock shaped Irish flag with Irish beer and three shamrocks in the middle, and “I Love Irish Beer.” I decided to modify this to create a new design. I copied a brown circle and a round shaped Irish flag that I made for another “Irish Drinking Team” design yesterday. Then I combined them into the file that I modified. Also, I copied “Irish Drinking Team” on the top and “Happy St. Patrick's Day” on the bottom from yesterday's design, and tried different colors for those letters. Also, I made the graphics and fonts lighter for dark T-Shirts.

I have another “Irish Drinking Team” design with the Irish Flag on a shield at CafePress. I changed the file size for Zazzle, and uploaded it.

First “Irish Drinking Team” Design at Zazzle

I have been working on the drafts for Irish designs. St. Patrick's Day is about three months away from now, but I started working at it early. I drew a leprechaun and Irish girl, and placed them on “Irish Drinking Team” designs. I made a big brown circle taking up the whole canvas, placed a circle of shamrocks inside of it, and drew another circle in an Irish flag style inside of the big circle. I put a leprechaun and Irish girl holding beer, and a big beer in front of them. I looked at the design from a distance, and felt that the middle part of the design is white and looks like something is missing, so I placed three small shamrocks in different colors in the background. I typed “Irish Drinking Team” on the top and “Happy St. Patrick's Day” on the bottom, and tried different colors for those letters. I replaced the circle of shamrocks with Celtic knots to create another version. Also, I added a harp on the beer like Guinness logo. I added grunge on the graphics. Next, I made the leprechaun and Irish girl bigger to create new designs. I tried different colors for fonts to make a couple of versions.

Started Working on St. Patrick's Day Designs

St. Patrick's Day is 3 months away from now, but I started thinking about the Irish designs for this event that is a big chance for selling T-Shirts. I created some designs last year for CafePress, and have some graphics of shamrocks, rainbows, gold pots and beer. I will add more variety to these traditional Irish items as well as new items, such as leprechauns and Irish girls.

Sold 500 of Rainbow Santa Christmas Cards

I almost fell off the chair when I saw a notification e-mail that 500 copies of my “Rainbow Santa” Christmas Cards sold. I did experiment on combining Santa and the rainbow, and I'm glad that somebody liked it. This is my biggest sale ever at Zazzle.

First Christmas Sale at Zazzle

I sold 3 stickers of “Santa in Nativity” at Zazzle. This is my first Christmas sale at Zazzle.
This is my experimental design of Santa and the Nativity combined together. I'm glad someone liked it. I didn't get any sales on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, so I started wondering if my Christmas products were ever going to sell. Yet, holiday shopping has just started, and will peak in December. I'm crossing my fingers to sell a lot.

“My First Christmas” For Babies

I decided to create “My First Christmas” products for babies. I will use some graphics from “My First 4th of July” designs. I have a baby stroller in red, white, and blue. I changed the color from blue to green for Christmas, and typed “My First Christmas” on the top of the canvas. I added the bell, and ribbon on the top and flowers under “My First Christmas.” I did some experiments on the size and position of the graphics. I placed a candy cane as a handle of the baby stroller, made a big wreath, and placed the baby stroller in the middle of it. Also, I drew a teddy bear and placed it in the center of the wreath instead of the stroller to create another version.

Reviewing Recent Christmas Designs

As I create more Christmas designs, I noticed room for improvements as I reviewed my recent artwork. I often sleep on my designs before uploading them, but I'm still in a dilemma between simple and fancy designs. It's challenging to add a lot of elements in an organized manner. One extra element could ruin the whole design or one big element could distract one's eyes. I looked at my designs after a week, and some extra elements started distracting my eyes. I noticed that I draw snowflakes too big in some designs, but I kept the current designs as they are because some people might like them. However, I made some new designs by modifying them, making fewer and smaller snowflakes. Here is one of the examples.

"USA for Christmas" T- Shirts

I created the first patriotic design for a T-Shirt in August, and have some other drafts for this design. I added “Wind” to “USA” to make it look like icicles with Photoshop, and added “Molecular” from “Texture” in the Layer Effects to make it look like crystal. I placed a Santa hat on the “S” in “USA,” three snowflakes on the right side of the canvas, and turned them into red, white, and blue. I added and scattered some circles at random on the layer and made them Bokeh, and scattered some circles in different sizes on another layer to make a background for products other than T-Shirts such as magnets and buttons. I added snow on the top of each letter in “USA” and slight Outer Grow. I found that it looked nicer with the black background rather than the colored background with decorations.

"Santa in Nativity" Christmas Card

I have some drafts for a Nativity scene that I made in October. I roughly placed a traditional Nativity scene in the middle of the canvas, and Santa on the left, an angel on the top, and the verse of “Oh Come Let Us Adore Him.” I looked at another Christmas snow scene with Santa, and a Christmas tree with the night sky, and combined two drafts into one which is “Santa in Nativity.” I made some different versions by changing the sky and the border. I added a verse, “May the Lord Jesus live in your heart all year long. Merry Christmas”

Candy Cane Christmas Card

I made another snow scene by combining the graphics from Snowscape in Wreath Christmas Card” that I made last week. I placed a big candy cane with a ribbon at the middle of the canvas, and grapes on the top edge of the canvas. I made horizontal and vertical versions for this design, and placed a peace dove on the candy cane on the vertical one.

Cardinals Sitting by Window Christmas Cards

I modified the cardinals, a fire place, and the ornament for “Cardinals in Love” that I made for CafePress three years ago. I placed a new Christmas tree inside the room, and decorated the background with snowflakes, and grapes. Next, I deleted the grapes from the background, and placed a frame instead to create another version for the same design.

A male and female cardinal are greeting each other by the window and celebrating the joy of the season, and a Christmas tree is decorated near the fire place inside the window.

I used the same peace doves, and cardinals from the past for new designs, and redrew ribbons, bells, and made a new background with shining stars and snowflakes. I created two designs for Christmas cards and ornaments based on the old one.

Occupy Wall Street Movement Design

I decided to create “Occupy Wall Street” Movement designs since it's a hot current issue. I downloaded free photos for Wall Street, the American flag, and people. First, I cropped a picture of Wall Street and placed it as the background, and an American flag in the air with a message of “We are the 99%,” and protesters in front. I added posterize effect and grunge on the graphics.

I modified a “I Believe in Santa Paws” design from yesterday, and turned it into a new design for a Christmas ornament. I placed a cat in a Christmas bauble, and snowflakes around the bauble.

“I believe in Santa Paws” Designs

I already uploaded some cat T-Shirts in September at my Zazzle store since I wanted to make my first Squidoo lens for seasonal T- Shirts. I created additional drafts for Christmas cards over the weekend. I often come up with new ideas while working on one design.
I cropped a lot of cat pictures for “Cats in Room,” “Cats and Santa” for mugs, and “cats in Bauble.”

Start Working on Christmas Cards

I started working hard on Christmas designs. This is my first year for Christmas at Zazzle, and I have already uploaded some Christmas stuff on my Zazzle store. Now, it's time to put more effort into the biggest event of the year. I'm sure that Christmas cards are best selling products as everybody agrees. I will focus on Christmas cards for a while in October, and on other products such as T-Shirts and ornaments when ideas come to my mind for that. I created some drafts based on the sketches that I drew last week. They are falling snow scenes with snowflakes, a peace dove flying over a Christmas tree, cats sitting in a room, cardinals in love, and more. I also looked around my old folders I made for CafePress to consider how to modify graphics for new designs.

Pink Ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is a Breast Cancer Awareness month.
I have been working on a related subject for the last couple of days. I made a pink ribbon first, and combined it with a butterfly, hearts, flowers, and messages, such as “Hope, Courage, Love,” and “Find a Cure.” I changed the sizes and colors of the hearts and created some different versions.
I saw Zazzle's home page today, and I found their Pink Ribbon Shop. They will donate 20% of the sales to breast cancer related causes.

Cat in Christmas Bauble

I have been working on multiple Christmas drafts. I found a cute white hairy cat meowing at a free commercial photo site. I placed a Santa hat on the cat and tried some Christmas presents under him, and changed his eye color from yellow to blue with Color Balance in Photoshop. I suddenly came up with an idea of putting a bauble around the cat. I painted some parts of the bauble. Also, I made another framed decoration to create a second version. I will work on this later.

Two Skeletons Halloween T-Shirts

Yesterday, I created a single skeleton design for Halloween T-Shirts. Today, I created two skeletons by rearranging the body parts of the single skeleton. I placed the two skeletons side by side and changed the positions of their arms and legs to add movement. They look like they're playing trick or treat. I made two versions for each design, which is with grunge and without grunge.

Skeleton and Happy Halloween T-Shirts

I arranged a skeleton that I made for Halloween invitations last week, and turned it into T-Shirts.
I created a skeleton wearing a pumpkin on its head, holding its skull with a black cat, and waving its hand. Also, I created another skeleton wearing a Jack O' Lantern, and holding pumpkins carved like a witch and scary cat in each hand. I made two versions for both designs, which is with grunge and without grunge. These are Halloween T-Shirts as cheap Halloween costumes.
